Twitter Chats

My best ideas come from Twitter these days. Each week I participate in three Twitter chats–#EllChat, #PTChat, and #BlackEd. Each group provides me with new inspiration and keen insights into the challenges our children face in a badly broken school system. My only regret is there is no easy way to harness the power of Twitter because it is like a huge fast moving river. One must hold on to every idea and hope that you can carry it in your mind until you get to the other side of the river. Every time, I hope I can commit the best comments and the best solutions to memory but sometimes I am overwhelmed by the combination of ideas and people and expertise . Every night I say, “Good Night Moon. Good Night Stars. Good Night Venus and Mars” and then it is another day and there is another fast moving Twitter stream that carries us all in a new direction.
